Kids send thousands of pounds of candy to troops overseas (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com)

A group of local kids are sending a mighty sweet gift to our troops serving overseas.This is the 3rd year in a row that Dr. Fawn Rosenberg, a Lexington dentist, has organized the event. In all, more than two-thousand pounds of leftover Halloween candy was collected to be sent to the troops.
